Privacy Notice
This notice explains how IJIDI Limited handles the personal data you give us through the enquiry form on this website, in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (the “Act”).
1. Who is responsible for your data
IJIDI Limited (RC 1615219), a company incorporated in Nigeria and trading as IJIDI Group, is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us about anything in this notice at enquiries@ijidigroup.com.
2. What the enquiry form collects
When you submit the enquiry form, we collect:
- your name
- your email address
- your organisation, if you give one
- the topic you choose
- the focus area you choose
- an indicative range, asked only for capital enquiries
- your message
We also record the date and time the enquiry was received. Nothing is collected until you press “Submit enquiry”.
3. Why we collect it, and our lawful basis
We use these details for one purpose: to read your enquiry and reply to it. We process them on the basis of your consent, which you give by submitting the form, and of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries made to us. We do not use them for marketing, we do not sell them, and we make no automated decisions about you.
4. Spam protection
To keep automated spam out of the form, its last step uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a program, is submitting. To do this it processes technical information from your browser and device, such as your IP address. This check is used only to protect the form, and it loads only when you reach the form’s last step.
5. Who sees your enquiry
Only IJIDI Limited can see your enquiry. We do not share it with anyone else, except where the law or a valid legal process requires us to. The service providers that host this website, store enquiries and deliver our email process it only on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.
6. Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored on secure servers in the European Union. Where your data is transferred outside Nigeria, we rely on the safeguards the Act requires for such transfers, including the provider’s contractual data protection commitments.
7. How long we keep it
We keep each enquiry for 24 months from the date we receive it. It is then deleted automatically. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time (see section 8).
8. Your rights
Under the Act you have the right to:
- be told how your personal data is used, as this notice does
- get a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted
- restrict or object to how we use it
- receive your data in a commonly used format
- withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it
To use any of these rights, including to ask us to delete your enquiry, email enquiries@ijidigroup.com from the address you used in the form. We will respond without undue delay. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
9. Security
Enquiries are sent over an encrypted connection and stored where only IJIDI Limited can read them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, as the Act requires.
10. The rest of this website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or advertising scripts, and its fonts are served from this site. Like any website, our hosting provider processes standard technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the pages to you. If you email us directly instead of using the form, we handle your message in the same way as an enquiry.
11. Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this notice first and change the date at the top.
